Searching Electronic Databases at the Library

February 21st, 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Learn about the electronic resources available at Aurora Public Library, and learn techniques to find the best information without relying on the first page of search results.

We'll review databases by Gale and EBSCO available at APL. Participants will learn searching techniques like Boolean keywords, truncation, and subject search to go beyond initial search results. Case studies will be used to show examples and compare search results between search techniques.
