Showcase your talents to the rest of the community by submitting your creative projects for inclusion in the Aurora Public Library’s online Zine!
There are two ways of participating: contribute content, or be part of the editing crew!
Email your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org
Submission ideas include:
- creative writing,
- maker projects,
- a review of an item borrowed from the library
- something you want to submit!
Submissions will be reviewed for approval.
Zines will be published once we receive enough submissions for an issue!
Come to our monthly meet-up to discuss layout, content and help put everything together.
Register on Eventbrite to receive the Zoom link for monthly meetings.
We will work using Canva Teams to arrange submissions into finished issues. Free account available.
What we will work on / roles and responsibilities:
- choosing an overall theme / template for the magazine
- cover photo photographers
- Vol 1 - submission selection order and layout
- Vol 1 - editor's notes
- Vol 1 - feature article
