Join us to explore a different kind of science each week. We’ll do experiments and hands-on exploration, and have a lot of fun while we learn neat things about the world around us.

Wednesdays February 26-April 4, 4:30-5:30 p.m. (no class March 18 due to Winter Break)

Ages 6-9 years (5 year olds may come with an older sibling)

Location: The first class will take place in the Multi-Use Room, and the following ones in the Optimist Room.

Aurora Hackathon

Local high school students will participate in a 30-hour hackathon where they will be tasked with developing an Android app that will meet one or more community goals.

Monday Feb.17 8:00 am - Tuesday Feb.18 1:00 pm
Ages: 16 - 19
Registration Required.

Register by team or register individually to be placed in a team.Teams of 3-4 will be presenting their projects to a panel of judges.
Prize ceremony will be followed by a University & College Fair from 3:00 - 7:00 pm.

Girls Who Code

Get together with fellow girls who are interested in using Computer Science and learn how to code from fun and simple online coding tutorials! There are 10 sessions taking place on tuesdays in the library.
