Graffiti Dreams: writing workshop

Break the rules of rational thinking. Create literary graffiti with child-like art, visualization and imagination games. Using the magic of metaphor, transform an animal as the most painful aspect of a character into a rescued beast - vibrant and alive.

Inspired by Drew Hayden Taylor’s Chasing Painted Horses, this workshop takes a deep dive into character development and loosely uses the mechanics of plot to propel the character forward in its own poem, story or memoir.

Facilitated by Marnie Maguire
