activities. Babies are to be accompanied by an adult. Programs held in the Optimist Room.

Stories, associated videos and crafts are all a part of this program. Children must be at least 3 years old at the beginning of the program. Children attend this
program on their own. Programs held in the Optimist Room.

| 9 | Storydrawing: Rainforest Explorers - 6 - 9 years old Time: Friday, July 9, 2010 Fee: $8.00 per child Location: Optimist Room - Second Floor Description: Do you like to tell stories about animals? Come and draw your own story about exploring the rainforest and discovering the animals that live there. Hands-on art exercises and story drawing techniques will be shared.
Extra Info: Library and community media may take pictures to help promote Library Services. If you do not want your child's picture taken please advise staff in writing prior to the program.
Only registered children may attend programs. No substitutions.
Cancellation of registration and refunds will be made upon receipt of a written request up to 1 week prior to the start of the course. An administration fee of $5.00 will be levied for each refund. Programs run pending sufficient registration.

| 15 | Clothespin Figures - 6 - 9 years old Time: 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Fee: $6.00 per child Location: Optimist Room - Second Floor Description: Learn old-fashioned craft making methods! Participants will use
clothespins, scraps of fabric, wool and imagination, to create a
unique clothespin doll. This classic craft makes a great gift or decoration.

What inspires you? What makes you strong? Using these questions and more, participants will use expressive art to paint and build a house. Artist Robin will teach children how to use art to express themselves!

Why did a starving, wild, dog travel 70 miles through a war zone, in the Iraqi desert, without taking a break?
For those of you who like stories that make you say ahh, join us for these and other true and amazing events involving animals around the world.
The storyteller will assist you in forming your own origami animal from easy step-by-step designs!
