In celebration of National Poetry Month, Aurora Public Library is pleased to announce the theme for the 7th Annual Young Adult Poetry Contest:  wishful thinking. 

We are now accepting submissions of poems in any style based on the theme wishful thinking.  Entries can be submitted online to yamagazine@library.aurora.on.ca or in-person to the Children and Young Adult Information Desk (attention: Jennifer Quirke).  Judging will be based on two age divisions:  Grades 7-9 and Grades 10-12.  The winner in each category will receive a $25 gift certificate for Chapters.  Remember to include your name, email address, telephone number, grade, and the title of your entry.  Entries are limited to a maximum of 3 pages.
