Batik is said to be an ancient form of art that has been handed down for thousands of years.  It is as wide spread as the Middle East, Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Philippines, India and many more countries! 

Explore the world of Indonesian Batik!

Traditional batik uses wax and dye to create beautifully patterned fabrics.  In this fun and hands-on program, children will make their own batik flag!
